We are looking for a Senior Sales Support Specialist. This is an independent role for someone who enjoys being closely involved in the commercial process and making sure that requests, orders and agreements are followed up efficiently and accurately. You will work in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly and several things are happening at the same time. This requires someone who can keep a clear overview, set priorities and take action without always being told what to do.
As a Senior Sales Support Specialist, you will be an important link between customers, account managers and internal departments. You make sure that requests, orders and agreements are processed correctly and that progress is carefully monitored.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining daily contact with customers regarding requests, orders, deliveries and commercial questions
- Processing and checking orders and related documentation
- Preparing quotations and other commercial correspondence
- Monitoring ongoing agreements and ensuring that actions are followed up on time
- Supporting account managers in managing existing customer relationships
- Coordinating customer requests and orders with logistics and other internal teams
- Identifying discrepancies, bottlenecks or delays and taking independent action to resolve them
- Keeping customer and administrative records accurate and up to date
- Contributing ideas to improve the efficiency of day-to-day activities and commercial processes
You are not simply there to provide support. You look ahead, identify what needs to be done and make sure it gets done.

Jouw profiel
- You have several years of relevant experience in retail, FMCG, sales support, inside sales, customer service or a similar role
- You are used to switching quickly between different tasks and keeping track of multiple priorities
- You have a good command of English
- You have strong communication skills and a professional approach towards customers and colleagues
- You are able to set priorities independently
- You do not wait to be told what needs to be done. You ask questions when something is unclear, keep your commitments and take pride in getting things done properly
- You work accurately without losing sight of the pace of the business
