De functie
You will become an indispensable link within the Quality team, which consists of a QA Assistant and a QA Manager. Additionally, you will work intensively with your colleagues in Product Management and the team in Asia. Your joint goal is to ensure that all our products comply with legal requirements. You will do this by, among other things, building and maintaining product files meticulously and managing certifications carefully. You will record data in various systems and support quality and product management by providing and managing project documents.
A significant part of your job is to initiate and monitor inspections within the factories we work with. You ensure that quality procedures are followed and that inspections and tests are closely monitored, so that the progress and schedule of product development are not jeopardized. Additionally, you keep quality management systems, such as BRC, up to date and perform quality checks on products and samples.
You will assist your manager in evaluating products from start to finish and preparing the associated reports. This means you will evaluate test reports, draw conclusions, and advise our buyers on potential improvements. You will also be responsible for the technical file of an item and ensure that the coordination of items from purchasing to shipping runs smoothly. Externally, you will regularly liaise with suppliers, laboratories, and inspection companies to ensure everything is managed effectively.
