The emphasis in this position is on streamlining the procurement process. The result areas include price, delivery time, quality and supplier performance.
You will be responsible for the procurement of single-use products in the biopharma sector. Through the reports in the ERP system you coordinate the purchasing requirements. With regard to inventory management, you are in contact with the Production and Logistics departments. You inform them about the stock level. With your foresight, you have insight into which materials are needed and when. You liaise with suppliers about the raw materials needed.
Administratively, you work on processing purchase orders, creating purchase order numbers, sending confirmations and adjusting delivery dates. You process this data in the ERP system Exact. You handle the coordination regarding returned goods. You also manage the purchasing of consumables for other internal departments. For example, the purchase of disposable gloves for the Facility Department. You can also put your analytical skills to good use in this role. On the basis of the key performance indicators you will prepare reports via Excel regarding the supplier performance measures.
The role is based in Hillegom or Tilburg. You will be expected to be at the other location twice a month. A car will be provided to commute between work locations. In addition, you can work partly remotely.
- Relevant work experience in the field of purchasing
